It was June the 3rd, 1780. The bright morning sun began to rise over the Italian Peninsula as the sounds of a newborn baby flooded the streets of a town within the Italian State of Venice. “It is a boy,” one of the young women that works for the owners of the house. As she held the newborn in her hands, the mother of the child was breathing heavily after she had delivered her first child.
Her husband soon came rushing in through the door as he said, “Il mio amore (My Love), I had just heard what was happening, is everything alright?”

“Of course my love,” she said to him as their worker gave the husband the child.
“Benvenuto al bambino mondo (Welcome to the world child),” he said the little one in Italian as the baby began moving as if he was fighting, but then he let out a terrifying cry like it was something from the depth of hell itself, “A fine and strong set of lungs, but yet he sounds like he is neither humans as well.”
“What shall we call him?” the man’s wife asked him.
“Julius, Julius Leonardo da Venezia,” the man replied.

   Many years later…

Julius Leonardo was now thirteen years old and now had little brother named Federico who was now eight years old and they were in a pure state of happiness, wealth, peace and sanity. Their parents soon bring them into the Assassin order within the Italian States, it took them a while (a year at the least) to become true Assassins as they were learning their orders history, how to use the Assassin weapons and their bitter war with a society known as the Templars. But just a year after they had become true Assassins, a terrible fate would befall upon his family that would change Julius’ life forever and would ultimately destroy his own spirit in the process.

He was taking Federico as they were coming back home from school and when they made it back. He opened the door their parents were nowhere to be found.
“That’s strange fratello (brother),” Julius said to his little brother, “Mother and father should be home by now.”
“That is strange,” Federico nodded, “Mother, Father? Are you home?” They soon heard the sound of their friend and house cleaner Lisa weeping and it was coming from their dining room.

They did find their friend in the dining room weeping. “Lisa, il mio amico (my friend) what’s wrong and where is mother and father?” Julius asked her.
“*sniff*... S-some guards came in... A-and took them out to the courtyard to hanged,” Lisa replied to them.
   “WHAT!?” Federico exclaimed, “Why?”
“T-they never said,” she replied to him, “*sniff*... T-they just took them.”
“Then we better see why,” Julius stated turning to look at his little brother as he nodded and went out to the courtyard to see what this was all about.

When they got to the courtyard, there was an angry crowd already gathered at the gallows and there was Julius and Federico’s mother and father ready to be hunged. They quietly walked towards the crowd to join them to overhear the charges against their own parents. “Antonio and Sofia Leonardo, you two are charged with the act of murdering two nobles of the states of Venice,” the judge said to their parents in a French accent, “Do you have any evidence that can spare your lives?”
“What murdered nobles are you even talking about?” their father asked him, “We have done no such thing?”
“The murders of Carlo Luigi and Marcello Roberto,” the judge replied to them.

The two boys were shocked to hear this because they or their parents didn’t murder those two noblemen for they weren’t on the list of Templars to kill and they weren’t even Templars to begin with in the first place. Julius had begin to say in his thought, ‘This has to be the Templars work,’ as he and his little brother continue to watch the judgement unfold before them.
“If you say that you and your wife have not committed these murders, you should have a document bearing this evidence, without it there is nothing saving you from death,” the judge continued as he nodded to the guard on the other side of the gallows to pull the lever. The guard did so and Julius and Federico watch in horror as their parents were hung on the spot. But it wasn’t just horror that filled Julius it was also anger as he pulled out his cavalry saber and rushed through the crowd towards the judge and his accomplices.

The guards tried to stop him, but Julius was just too fast as the young Assassin leaped over one of the guards and violently dug his saber into the judge’s heart. The blood curdling screams of the Templar echoed throughout the area of the city. Yet he wasn’t done for he pulled his saber out, and attacked the judge’s accomplices, slashing them down one by one. After that he started to come out his rage as he and Federico ran into the shadows. When they made it out the sight of the guards, Federico turned to look at his older brother with an annoyed face as he asked him, “Julius, why did you do that?”

“I don’t know, I couldn’t help it Federico,” Julius replied to him, “I felt like they deserved to die.”
“Well next time try not to do that and let us notify the other Assassins, okay?” his little brother said.
“That’s fair enough,” Julius nodded as they walked to the Assassin headquarters. They tore down wanted posters and took out witnesses along the way.

But yet at the same time Julius couldn’t get the feeling about the loss of their parents of out his thoughts.
When they made it to their headquarters, there standing at the altar of Ezio Auditore was their mentor, talking with another Assassin. Their mentor turned to look at them and said, “Ah Julius, Federico, it is good to see you two again, but where are your parents?”
“Mentor, it’s good to see you too,” Federico greeted him, “But our parents…”
“They… Have been hung,” Julius cut in, “By Templars.”

“Oh, I see, I’m sorry if we were not able to help you,” their mentor apologized.
“But there is more,” Federico blurted out as he turned to his older brother who was in shame.
   “Julius?” their mentor asked.
“I… Went in and... Murdered the Templars in a great rage,” Julius admitted in shame, “I am sorry mentor.”
“Your apology is accepted young Julius,” the mentor said to him putting a hand on his shoulder, “But I hope you have now learned to control your anger.”

“Yes mentor,” Julius replied to him. As they walked out, Julius was still furious. But now started to hear voices in his head, but yet he felt like he heard them before when he was just a newborn. But he then thought that he might just be hearing things. But he will soon find out that these were no mere voices in his head.

    Three years later…

Julius was now sixteen, but not only the anger of the loss of his parents stayed with him, but now his little brother Federico has disappeared and Julius could not find him anywhere in Venice or any nearby Italian states. He now was with no family, but he still had the Assassins and the friends he had in the Assassin order. So he was still a little happy. But when the French army and their general Napoleon Bonaparte had just defeated the Sardinians, captured Milan, and subdued the Pope.

Now, they were knocking on his home state's doorstep, but the Assassins were prepared to fight both the French army and the Templars. They managed to fight off the first wave of French troops and crush a small band of Templars, but they now were waiting for the next wave of French forces. Julius now was fighting alongside his mentor as they were surrounded by French soldiers. Julius blocked one Frenchman’s attack and gets him in the neck with his hidden blade. “You are doing better Julius,” his mentor said to him.

But then they turned to look and see in shock, that a line of French troops were getting ready to fire. With little time to react to the danger, Julius was hit by two musket balls in the eyes and one to the leg. When he regained consciousness, he couldn’t see anything with his normal sight so he switched to his Eagle Vision to see. He also felt that he was being dragged and he found out that it was some of his surviving Assassin brothers were dragging him back into the city.

“Help me up you idioti (Idiots),” Julius said to them as his brothers were shocked to hear him, “I said now you fools!” he roared as they did as he requested picking him up and taking him back to their underground headquarters. He wanted to walk back himself, but the musket ball made a bad wound which made him unable to walk back to their underground base. He was now enraged and hope that the Austrians can stop the French advance for awhile.

    A few hours later…

Julius was just having his wounds treated by one of the doctors the Assassins requested to have. “There we are Julius,” the doctor said to him, “Now all that is need for you to recover is to get some rest.”
“Thank you doctor,” he said as the doctor walked out of his chambers, leaving the eyeless Assassin alone to try to rest and recover.
‘Julius,’ the familiar voice called to him from inside his head. He looked around and there was nobody else in his room but himself.

‘Julius, kill the French,’ the voice said to him again.
“W-why should I?” Julius asked the voice in his head, “Venezia (Venice) has fallen, their soldiers started to march in the city.”
‘Remember what they did to your mother and father,’ the voice said to him as he now was remembering that French Templar did to his parents making him furious, ‘Show them what it truly means to fear someone.’ He gave out a wicked smile and laughed in an monstrous voice as he grabbed a blue mask he had and began to paint yellow teeth on it. He then put it on his face and walked out of the underground.

    In the city of Paris…

It was a quiet night in the city as a man was walking through the streets of the beloved city. “Ah, what a beautiful night,” he said to himself, but then he started to get the feeling that he was being followed by someone. He looked back and there was no one there. ‘It must have been nothing,’ the man thought to himself as he continued to walk down the street. But then someone came out of the darkness of an alleyway and grabbed him from behind.

He tried to get out this person’s grip, but it was useless as he was being pulled into the dark alleyway. “Ciao a tutti (Hello there),” the person said to him in italian showing the blood gushing out the holes of his mask as he pulled out his cavalry saber and pinned the man to the wall of a building, “I am going to cut your own heart out.” He did so as he pinned the man to a wall stabbing a knife in the hands to make sure that the man wouldn't escape. As blood leaked out of the man's hands, the hooded man begun by pulling out a throwing knife and brutally cutting a triangle into the man's chest. The agonizing, blood curdling screams of the man gave the hooded figure a growth of satisfaction as he finish cutting the triangle and started brutally ripping out the man's heart.

The blood began to pour out of the Frenchman's chest as his heart was successfully ripped out of him. The hooded man laughed evilly in a demonic manner as he held the Frenchman's heart in his blood stained, gloved hand. But he wasn't done yet, he began to grab a knife and began to cut the Frenchman’s eyes out. As he was doing that blood was beginning to spill out of the eye sockets. Once he got the corneas were cut, he then immediately ripped the eyes out with blood gushing out.

Two days later, French soldiers were notified by a woman of a brutal murder and came to the scene only to be met by a fowl smelling courpse. It was like a horror scene from a book, the eyes had been ripped out and so was the heart. But then they soon find a piece of folded paper, so they opened it and written in the man's blood, it said in Italian, "al diavolo voi francesi (To hell with you French)." Unknown to them, the man's murderer was watching them.
